The Problem
Imagine you are sitting at table with some of the greatest thinkers in the world; however,
in a restaurant, conversations around this table are mostly ineffective and impossible to successfully conduct.
Our Solution
TableTalk is conceived of as a “voice-lift” device enabling superior speech communications in noisy environments, such as a noisy restaurant or conferences where the noise levels exceed 75 dB. The TableTalk device sits at the center of the table, providing enhanced articulation of the speech of any talker around a table and directing their speech to the other participants.

How it Works
TableTalk is a patented wireless device that enhances intelligibility of conversations and reduces listening fatigue for all listeners. TableTalk has also achieved results with users experiencing attention deficit learning challenges or moderate hearing loss.
TableTalk was founded to apply voice lift technology, a new innovation using traditional sound system components to provide voice amplification for participants without the use of pass-around wireless microphones, in everyday situations in atmospheres where it is difficult to hear, such as noisy restaurants, lecture halls, conference rooms, and auditoriums.

The first TableTalk patent was granted in 2012. TableTalk’s newest patent was issued in 2022, including advanced signal processing using sophisticated logic that automatically tracks the speaker and projects their voice to intended speakers.
Our Team
HearUnow, Inc., a U.S. company, was founded in 2009 by Richard Pivnicka, an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. The initial TableTalk audio appliance was created to achieve intelligibility enhancement of the spoken word at a table of 4 to 10 people wishing to speak and hear each other in noisy environments, such as a business-dinner or social settings.
